Match Amplified: what's next

Match Amplified: what's next

What’s next: an honest closer to the series

This is the last post in the series. Time to be honest about where things stand.

What Match Amplified is now

A side project and a portfolio piece. A real system, with real architecture, real AI agents and real data flowing through real workflows. Eight posts worth of genuine learning, from multi-agent design through infrastructure to choosing a name.

It’s not a funded startup. And (currently) not a full-time pursuit either. Just a serious project built with serious tools, the kind of thing that used to take a team and months.

Where it goes from here

Match Amplified will most probably continue slowly as a side project and learning experiment. Multi-source job discovery, payments, deeper personalisation: the roadmap is there. But the pace is deliberate, not rushed.

What it’s also become, maybe more importantly, is good practice as an end to end product builder. PRDs, architecture, frontend, infrastructure, branding. The full loop, done solo, with AI tools at every step.

What this series was really about

Public accountability for learning. A demonstration that product managers can build real AI systems, not just spec or manage them but actually ship them. And an invitation to others to do the same.

If you don’t know where to start: @Pawel Huryn and @Olia Herbelin are running the Claudathon. It just started this past Monday! I can genuinely recommend it if you want to go from “interested in AI” to “shipped something real”. 👉 https://go.productcompass.pm/claudathon

Follow along

I’ll keep working on Match Amplified and other side projects. And I will keep posting about them (less frequently though), both here and in JRM Lab (https://jrmlab.dev). If you’re building something similar, or just thinking about it, DMs are always open.
